This question is for the people who always cry openly that God has done nothing for them but they hide when they are blessed with God .
Yes sometimes, but iam in confusion whether to believe him or not.
Even though I do not fall into this category of those who complain, I do on occasion too.
I truly thank God for all His blessings. Sometimes they appear incognito in the worst situations. One must be willing to see the bigger picture, to acknowledge the blessings bestowed.
I am thankful every day of my life just to wake up in the morning. Everything else is truly undeserved but, appreciated 'perks'. :D

I personally enjoy sick humor but it seems that people get offended like about the numerous Steve Irwin (Croc Hunter) jokes that some are making. I've seen jokes on here posted about Princess Diana as well and people take offense. I enjoy the comedy of Ricky Smiley from BET's ComicView. He is known for his sick humor types of jokes about death, church, funerals, old ladies and making prank phone calls. Why does it only seem okay to poke fun at people when they are alive but when they die, it's totally wrong?

Michael did have vitiligo, which is a condition that affects pigmentation in the skin -- destroying it. This happening on a dark-skinned person will be FAR more noticeable than on a light-skinned person. Try to imagine how your own self-esteem would be affected if portions of your skin were becoming another color and you had little or no control over it.
I've met people in person that have it. And, Tempest Bledsoe of The Cosby Show fame --next to youngest daughter -- also has vmichael jackson skin condition vitiligoitiligo. See 3rd link below.
I do not know what other things Michael might have done to deal with the vitiligo, but I imagine make-up was part of the solution when he had to be in public. For all we know, maybe that "one-glove" thing started out as a way to hide the vitiligo on his hand...maybe yes, maybe no!
Apparently it is possible to use skin grafting, but it requires using one's own skin as the grafting material, so it only works for "small" areas. I'm guessing that MJ's was far more intrusive than that.
As for the plastic surgery, that's a separate issue, and he had quite a bit of that. He had more than one surgery on his nose and face, and I DO remember some years back when there was a lot of speculation that he'd far too much. I recall a photo that was shown where it appeared that the tissue was separating at the tip of his nose and starting to expose the cartilage beneath.
None of us can ever know everything that was going on with MJ physiologically or psychologically. But, there's no doubt that his physiological issues had a negative effect on his psychological self.

I have not sold stuff on eBay in a while, but I have sold a lot, and when I print out shipping labels through PayPal, it used to print them almost the size of half of a page. relocating to boston maWhere are the best places to live with children near Boston, Ma?
We are relocating to Boston, MA. We have children ranging in ages 13-4. We are looking for a place that is good for our children to live and not have to worry as much.
The Worcester area is very nice, especially the towns between the city of Worcester and 495
There are so many great towns around Boston. I live in Walpole and it's a a wonderful town just about 10 miles south of the city, also right around me is Foxboro, Plainville, Norfolk, Wrentham and Dover and westwood...all beautiful friendly small(ish) towns.
Depending on how far away from town you're willing to go the more small town New England feel you will grelocating to boston maet, I grew up in a very small town called Pepperell but it's about an hour northwest of Boston, my father has made that commute every day for the past 26 years, so if you're willing to go for a long drive to work, I suggest Northern Middlezex County, I couldn't imagine a better place to grow up.
You should look into Newton or Newton Highlands. I lived there for a while and absolutly loved it.

I won the heart of the woman of my dreams about 3 years ago, but after 2 years of the relationship we broke up because I was a selfish wanker and got jealous of this amazing person. It has now been 10 months since we broke up, and I still think about her every day. I've had 1-nights and short flings since, but there's still a hole in my life where she used to be. With his first swallow of water, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to insure their safety and that they work as advertised. All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer's medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance - now Joe gets it too. He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Joe's bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.
In the morning shower, Joe reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained. after recently having an ectopic pregnancy and subsequently losing my chances to conceive naturally i've not felt there is anyone near me who can really understand how i feel. i'm in real need of some support and don't know where to turn, doctors just prescribed anti depressants and counselling(3 months ago still no appointment offered because of the waiting list). any ideas?

Another good contact would be Ectopic Pregnancy Trust (www.ectopic.org.uk) who have lots of info on their site. They too offer telephone counselling if you feel that could be helpful.
Don't lose all hope. Although the risks of having an ectopic are higher if you have already had one it is not impossible to have a normal pregnancy next time...I have nursed many women in just the same position as you who have gone on to have successful pregnancies. I wish you the very best of luck.

That's really good! I enjoy writing poetry, and i don't usually have the guts to rhyme everything. It is quite descriptive, and really gives an idea of the strength of the feelings the composition is conveying. One recommendation,dustin's passions though. On the last two lines, you repeat the word fire ('embracing the fire', and then 'the raging fire'), and i think that it may sound less redundant if you replace one of them with 'flame' or another synonym of your choice. Fabulous writing!

wow. those cheats r useless. well except for 'five' cuz its a pretty sick mode but not as popular as the regular mode in the Reichstag. but other than that, those cheats r crappy. :/
the game is continous...no cheats or glitches...best way i found is after u get around 2000 points in the first room (dont buy any weapons...just use your pistol)....open the bottom door to the left...do not open the back door...this makes a good standing ground with 2 windows on each side and a fire trap if things get hectic.....also there is a machine gun to rack up some points....after u get up about 7000 points....go upstairs and open everything else to get to the power and get juggernaug and find the box to get better guns....then return back to the first room i told you about with the fire trap....made it to round 27 this way with just 2 ppl....hope this helps

Just noticed the little advert on the side over there, and it asked if you know why Ladybugs have spots. That got me to thinking that I haven't thought about it before, but know that it has been entered into my head, I won;t get any rest until I found out. I figured some educated person (or even a Christian!!) might have the answer.

Ladybugs taste awful, and have a very weak toxin in their tissues. The bright colours are a warning to predators that they really don't want a mouthful of this.
It's the opposite to camouflage. Being noxious, they don't have to hide. Instead, it's beneficial to them to advertise the fact.

listeria symptoms pregnancyStomach bug, listeria, or normal pregnancy symptoms for 20 weeks? Can someone help please?
I'm 20 weeks pregnant and at my last doctors appt. about a month ago, everything was in perfect condition. I've never gotten morning sickness, and my only usual symptom is constipation (sorry TMI, but more to come). Then, this Saturday I was woken up at 5:30AM with the worst stomach cramps ever. I mean my stomach turned into a knot, the gas pains were ridiculous, and I began shaking. I spent two hours in the bathroom with severe diarrhea and a little vomiting.
Now it's Thursday and I've felt fine since. That is until 2 o'clock this afternoon when it happened all over again. I called my doc. and she said to just stay hydrated, and if I got any cramps or tightening in my uterus, then I shlisteria symptoms pregnancyould go to the emergency room right away. Well, it's been a few hours now and I feel ok. I get the occasional light pain down by my ovary, and a little gas, but I'm worried I may have contracted some sort of bacteria like Listeria. I had chicken last night and it was a little pink, but my husband ate it and feels ok.
I think the baby's ok, because I think I feel her moving (it's like little flicks or taps from inside the wall of my belly), but maybe it's just gas bubbles and not her at all? I dunno. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this ever?
Listeria takes weeks to show symptoms, it is not that.
You may just have the flu :)

My daughter recently decided to become a vegetarian. She's almost 14. Are there any vegetarians out there who can give me some advice? I have already bought her some protein bars/shakes. What vitamins should she take? Any help would be appreciated.

Once you get used to it you will find it really easy to cater for her. Perhaps get her to help a bit seeing as though you are being very supportive she should return something by way of help.
There are no nutrients, vitamins, minerals, protiens etc that are missng from a decent veggie diet. I too went veggie at 14 years old, 28 years ago, and have never had any health problems. I don't take vitamin pills or any supplements.
Perhaps look at the vegetarian society website ?
They have great information packs for new veggies, teen veggies and parents of such so there is bound to be somerhing there for you.
Try the "lifestyle" menu near the right
Perhaps also try the pages. They contain details on protien, iron etc and show why we need them, how much we need and where a veggie gets them from in thier diet.

Hi, I am also a young vegetarian. There's much more to vegetarianism than protein bars and artificial supplements. Don't forget to give her natural sources of protein, like soy products, beans, mushrooms etc. As for calcium, she can still consume dairy if she wishes, but if she doesn't want that, there's always a rice or nut or soy alternative.
Some good advice would be to read the labels of food packaging. Check if it is suitable for vegetarians, there's usually a banner stating if it is.
For other vital nutritional sources, iron can be found in kidney beans, various seeds and spinach, and omega-3s are available from flax seeds.

Whole Foods and even mainstream grocery stores carry various brands of faux meats, which make the transition to vegetarianism easier and have a lot of protein/nutrients.

I would avoid the store bough protein bars and shakes, because of the sugar levels and processing. Vegetarians tend to need the B vitamins because they are not eating meat. For snacking you might give your daughter soy nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds ( not dry-roasted). There are also other plant based products such as tempeh & tofu from soy and seitan from wheat gluten.

She doesn't necessarily have to take vitamins or protein bars/shakes, they have too many calories, fat, sugar, etc. Just make sure she's eating properly. And don't listen to Calvin K, he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. Vegetarians DO get enough protein as long as they eat properly. Buy her thing like tofu, nuts, eggs, beans, etc. so she gets enough protein, just look up how much she should eat. I myself am a vegetarian, I'm fourteen and I've been a vegetarian since I was thirteen. Try to go for the organic stuff too. People seem to think that burgers, fries, etc. is real food when it's not, at least I don't consider it to be.
You seem like a great mom for caring so much and letting her become a vegetarian.
The best advice is to be "MOM" and carry on what you've learned in your lifetime about nutrition.
Tell your daughter she can eat whatever she wants when she leaves your house, but for now YOU are in control of her diet. Kids are "fadists" and don't realize that during their growing years a well-balanced foundational diet is necessary to avoid long range physical problems down the road.
Body chemistry is nothing to tinker with, and the fact that you are not knowledgeable in this area make it even more of a problem. Even most of the fanatics on this forum know next to nothing and can only refer you to a bunch of veggie biased websites.
Do what is nutritionally best for your daughter ... do what worked for you and your mom.

I agree with the person who stated that you might have her become involved in the cooking. Have her help research what she needs in her veggie diet to stay healthy. I did a google search for vegetarian diet and came up with a ton of great resources when I started a year ago.
Hi, I am also a young vegetarian. There's much more to vegetarianism than protein bars and artificial supplements. Don't forget to give her natural sources of protein, like soy products, beans, mushrooms etc. As for calcium, she can still consume dairy if she wishes, but if she doesn't want that, there's always a rice or nut or soy alternative.
Some good advice would be to read the labels of food packaging. Check if it is suitable for vegetarians, there's usually a banner stating if it is.
For other vital nutritional sources, iron can be found in kidney beans, various seeds and spinach, and omega-3s are available from flax seeds.

The American Dietetic Association, the nation's foremost authority on nutrition, writes: "Well-planned vegan and other types of vegetarian diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood and adolescence."
As long as your daughter eats a variety of foods (not junk food and tons of carbs) she will get the nutrients she needs. I take a daily multi-vitamin just to be on the safe side. Whole Foods and even mainstream grocery stores carry various brands of faux meats, which make the transition to vegetarianism easier and have a lot of protein/nutrients.

I would avoid the store bough protein bars and shakes, because of the sugar levels and processing. Vegetarians tend to need the B vitamins because they are not eating meat. For snacking you might give your daughter soy nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds ( not dry-roasted). There are also other plant based products such as tempeh & tofu from soy and seitan from wheat gluten.

She doesn't necessarily have to take vitamins or protein bars/shakes, they have too many calories, fat, sugar, etc. Just make sure she's eating properly. And don't listen to Calvin K, he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. Vegetarians DO get enough protein as long as they eat properly. Buy her thing like tofu, nuts, eggs, beans, etc. so she gets enough protein, just look up how much she should eat. I myself am a vegetarian, I'm fourteen and I've been a vegetarian since I was thirteen. Try to go for the organic stuff too. People seem to think that burgers, fries, etc. is real food when it's not, at least I don't consider it to be.
You seem like a great mom for caring so much and letting her become a vegetarian.
The best advice is to be "MOM" and carry on what you've learned in your lifetime about nutrition.
Tell your daughter she can eat whatever she wants when she leaves your house, but for now YOU are in control of her diet. Kids are "fadists" and don't realize that during their growing years a well-balanced foundational diet is necessary to avoid long range physical problems down the road.
Body chemistry is nothing to tinker with, and the fact that you are not knowledgeable in this area make it even more of a problem. Even most of the fanatics on this forum know next to nothing and can only refer you to a bunch of veggie biased websites.
Do what is nutritionally best for your daughter ... do what worked for you and your mom.

800 doctors webmdHow long does the pain of shingles last after finishing acyclovir meds, begun immediately after rash appeared?
I'm a 51 year-old male. I saw a doctor, was diagnosed with shingles the same day that the rash appeared and began taking 800 mg of acyclovir 5X/day that same afternoon. The rash began to heal visibly within one week, but I still have some pain when my shirt touches the areas of the rash, and also some deep, lower back pain, especially late at night and when I first wake up. I've been taking Ibuprofen for the pain when necessary and the pain isn't as severe as it was the first ten days, but I'm wondering how much longer it may last. My doctor told me on the phone today (day # 11) that I am experiencing post herpetic neuralgia and that she could order shots of Vitamin B12 if the pain persists for another week. My research (on the WebMD site) tells me that post herpetic neuralgia is what occ800 doctors webmdurs when you either a.) don't seek treatment and begin anti-viral meds for shingles within 72 hours of onset, or b.) your body doesn't respond to the medication. Is it possible for my doctor to know whether I have post herpetic neuralgia without examining me in person? (The doctor did NOT see me today, we only talked on the phone.) And can I expect the pain to go away completely reasonably soon?
In the majority of cases post herpetic neuralgia slowly improves, but can take up to five years and is occasionally on on-going problem. To be honest, PHN is difficult to treat and often requires patients to cycle through several drugs to find the most helpful agent, so I am a little surprised your GP has not asked to see you sooner in order to help you get relief. Antivirals reduce risk of PHN but unfortunately don't reduce risk to zero. Hope this helps and that you feel better soon.

I just reloaded Win XP onto a new hard drive. I'm surfing the web and about every third page I get a popup message labeled "Security Warning" asking me if I want to install and run "Adobe Flash Player". This is a standard nag screen from MS that you get when you hit a web page that uses softlabel flash software downloadware you don't have.
I don't want to install Flash, so I answer "No". But the @#$% thing keeps coming up. I've probably answered "No" fifty times today and there doesn't seem to be any way to shut it off. Does anyone know how to block this message? Anyone who answers with some varient of &qulabel flash software downloadot;Download Flash" will be flagged for abuse.
