relocating to boston maWhere are the best places to live with children near Boston, Ma?

We are relocating to Boston, MA. We have children ranging in ages 13-4. We are looking for a place that is good for our children to live and not have to worry as much.
The Worcester area is very nice, especially the towns between the city of Worcester and 495
There are so many great towns around Boston. I live in Walpole and it's a a wonderful town just about 10 miles south of the city, also right around me is Foxboro, Plainville, Norfolk, Wrentham and Dover and westwood...all beautiful friendly small(ish) towns.

Depending on how far away from town you're willing to go the more small town New England feel you will grelocating to boston maet, I grew up in a very small town called Pepperell but it's about an hour northwest of Boston, my father has made that commute every day for the past 26 years, so if you're willing to go for a long drive to work, I suggest Northern Middlezex County, I couldn't imagine a better place to grow up.
You should look into Newton or Newton Highlands. I lived there for a while and absolutly loved it.
I came from Seattle for a 1 year relocaiton for work. I worked downtown in Copley Square and was able to take the T each day to work and back. I did not have to drive to get most places around the city due to the close prrelocating to boston maoximity of the T. Newton is close to downtown yet, still has the small town feel. From what I recall housing is pretty expensive in the Newton area but the schools are great and the feel of Newton is great as well.
Good luck in your hunt! You will love the Boston area no matter where you choose to live.
Some great towns that are close to Boston include:
-Sudbury
-Westborough
-Northborough
-Southborough
-Lexington
-Upton
-Concord
-Harvard
-Medfield

There are so many great towns with good schools around here! I would just stay away from Worcester with small kids.
