why do ladybugs have spotsYeah, why do Ladybugs have spots?

Just noticed the little advert on the side over there, and it asked if you know why Ladybugs have spots. That got me to thinking that I haven't thought about it before, but know that it has been entered into my head, I won;t get any rest until I found out. I figured some educated person (or even a Christian!!) might have the answer.

And, Christians, sorry about that little insult above. I know it is wrong, but just couldn't resist the temptation!! Please forgive me. Just having a bit of fun.
Ladybugs taste awful, and have a very weak toxin in their tissues. The bright colours are a warning to predators that they really don't want a mouthful of this.

It's the opposite to camouflage. Being noxious, they don't have to hide. Instead, it's beneficial to them to advertise the fact.
because just the way they are, some bugs have different colors with some other things on them selves, but lady bugs are cute insects and love them

I just kind of want to say that Booby Jim is an idiot. The "spots" that the Bible are referring to are not ladybugs. I hate it when everyone tries to connect the Bible with everything. The cheetah, dalmatian, and several other animals are spotted, are they not, but they aren't evil, correct?

I bet Paul ATE ladybugs just to get BA!!!!

why do ladybugs have spots
Why are you on a Ladybug?
Haven't a clue, but no offense.

2 Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. SPOTS THEY ARE AND BLEMISHES, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
Colors for some reason in Nature show something that is poisonous.
Colors have a lot to do with nature, because of camo, and what to eat and don't.
Would you be more scared of a red and brown spotted bettle or a completely brown one, or red one?... I don't know either. xD

I guess it's a bug thing.

If I saw a spider that was 2 or 3 different colors I would completely freak, and for some reason I would freak more than just a brown one... Idk why.
It's like a warning to predators that they taste bad. Rather there were some ladybugs that both tasted bad and how distinctive markings so predators recognized not to eat them once they found out. That kind would tend to be eaten less frequently than a kind that still tasted bad, but weren't very distinctive.
The reason that entomologists think that ladybugs have such brilliant red coloring and black spots is to warn their predators that they taste really bad and that they are a little bit pwhy do ladybugs have spotsoisonous, too.

"/
Because spots look like eyes to potential predators. It doesn't matter how many or where they are, just that they are clear and can confuse the predator into thinking that perhaps the target is just the head of something much bigger.
ladybugs have spots to distinguish themselves from the other lady bugs, just as tigers have stripes, as do zebras. They also double as camoflage.
Warning to predators that ladybugs taste bad.

Without looking it up, I would venture to guess that it might appear as eyes to other creatures that might think about eating it. A defense mechanism.
Its to warn predators and others that they are toxic. Bright colors and an arrangement of bright colors are usually a sign of this.
I think it's to warn predators that the ladybugs taste bad/are poisonous.
I'm pretty sure Lady Bugs have spots to scare predators away. They are supposed to look like eyes.
It is to warn predators that they are poisonous.
Such strong fliers they're red paint is wearing off.
it is to show that they are poisonous so preditors will not eat them (by the way it doesn't matter what you say about christians because we will all watch you go to hell)
That's how God created them.
The little fairies paint them on.
God did it.
You see them too?

Well, that's a relief..
